There is a disparity in the birth world between those who receive traditional care and those who have access to whole body care.
At the birth threshold, we believe that birth and healing are mind body and soul experiences, and we are here to bridge the gap with full body chiropractic care.

Our Mission
Our mission is to expand access to chiropractic wellness care for low income families, military families and teen moms to help with
health, wellness and perinatal care.
What We Do
The Birth Threshold is designed to bridge the gap between traditional care and wellness care, especially in the perinatal and pediatric models. For many south Texas families, chiropractic care is a luxury service that is otherwise unattainable.
In addition to chiropractic care, The Birth Threshold serves to educate and support families who have experienced traumatic births.
Who We Are
The Birth Threshold was founded by Dr. Erica Hernandez, a local chiropractor and San Antonio native. As a mother of five, she recognizes the benefit of chiropractic care to the perinatal experience and overall wellness of an individual.
